While other sites provide more space between sites, sites 44 and 45 are basically on top of each other. Other than that, 45 is a nice site, I stayed there one night. I just felt like the RV in site 44 was looking down into my site. It was all right but not an isolated feeling like you can better attain in other sites at Devils Garden Campground.

Here’s another angle on the site:

You can put a smaller tent on the left (as we see it in the photo) side of the picnic table. Notice the trench in the foreground, it’s a bit hard to make out in the photos, it separates you from site 44.

The other place to put a tent in this site is behind the tree it’s kind of close in on the back of site 44, but it’s a decent tent pad I saw one camper use.

Of all the sites in the park, this site gets a plus for being in the back loop, that means the bulk of the campers in the park won’t be driving by you on the way to their site. The scenery is nice back there as well. It’s a bit of a walk to the nearest flush toilets, but the campground trailheads are nearby in this site.

Overall it’s a 7/10 for lack of privacy, being basically right on top of site 44, but otherwise it’s a fine site. I just hope your neighbors in site 44 behave!
