This is my favorite site at the park, site 46. The only problem I’ll mention up front, if it rains a lot, then water pools up around the firepit. This put a stop to my campfire plans my final night there at Arches recently.

Overall it’s a wonderful site, here’s a wider view:

This site is in competition with site 48 as the most private site in the campground. There’s a nice set of trees and bushes between you and site 45. Of course you’ll overhear everything they say, but that’s OK.

There’s a nice tent pad right at the back of the paved driveway in the site. Don’t setup any tents near the firepit, first for fire safety, and second because if it rains it will be wet there.

Here’s some closeup photos of the site, showing that there’s a personal climbing area at the site:

Walk past up to the tree and you see:

Follow that to the back of the campsite and look up, I’m not sure if this goes in anywhere:

On the other side of the site, a decent distance away, is the Juniper Group campsite, they are far enough away that you probably won’t notice them there, unless there’s a particularly loud camper over there, like my last night at the campground.

Bottom line except for the potentially submerged fire pit in the rain, you can’t go wrong with this site.
